Service Limitations

Booking and Payment Terms

Booking Process

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
• Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of required deposits and written confirmation from Subcorimas
• Group bookings may require additional terms and conditions

Payment Schedule

• Deposit: 25% of total tour cost due at time of booking
• Final Payment: Balance due 60 days prior to departure
• Last-Minute Bookings: Full payment required within 60 days of departure
• Group Bookings: Custom payment schedules may apply

Accepted Payment Methods

• Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
• Bank transfers for large group bookings
• Certified cheques (with advance notice)

Price Changes

While we strive to maintain stable pricing, prices may be subject to change due to:

• Currency fluctuations
• Fuel surcharges
• Government taxes and fees
• Supplier price increases

Once full payment is received, your tour price is guaranteed against increases.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations

Subcorimas Cancellations

In the rare event that Subcorimas must cancel a tour, you will receive:

• Full refund of all payments made, or
• Credit toward a future tour of equal or greater value, or
• Alternative tour options if available

Force Majeure

Subcorimas is not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, severe weather conditions
• Government restrictions or travel advisories
• Labour strikes or civil unrest
• Pandemic or health emergencies
• Terrorism or security threats

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance is not included in tour prices unless specifically stated.

Customer Responsibilities

Travel Documentation

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have:

• Valid passport with appropriate expiry dates
• Required visas and permits
• Necessary vaccinations and health certificates
• Travel insurance documentation

Health and Fitness

• Accurately disclose any medical conditions or dietary restrictions
• Ensure physical fitness level is appropriate for chosen activities
• Carry necessary medications and medical supplies
• Follow safety instructions provided by guides and activity leaders

Conduct and Behaviour

Customers must:

• Respect local customs, laws, and regulations
• Follow instructions from tour guides and local authorities
• Treat fellow travellers, guides, and locals with respect
• Comply with environmental protection guidelines
• Refrain from illegal activities or disruptive behaviour

Dismissal from Tour

Subcorimas reserves the right to dismiss customers from tours for:

• Illegal activities or criminal behaviour
• Dangerous or disruptive conduct
• Failure to follow safety instructions
• Behaviour that negatively impacts other participants

No refunds will be provided for dismissal due to inappropriate conduct.

Limitation of Liability

Scope of Liability

Subcorimas's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific tour or service.

Third-Party Suppliers

Subcorimas acts as an intermediary between customers and third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, activity providers). We are not liable for:

• Actions or omissions of third-party suppliers
• Failure of third-party services to meet expectations
• Delays, cancellations, or changes made by suppliers
• Quality of accommodations, meals, or transportation

Exclusions

Subcorimas is not liable for:

• Personal injury, illness, or death (except where caused by our negligence)
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Additional expenses due to delays or itinerary changes
• Missed connections or disrupted travel plans
• Emotional distress or consequential damages

Time Limitations

Any claims against Subcorimas must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the completion of travel services.
